Visa Types Accepted (Foreign Nationals)

Below is the list of visa types recognized and accepted for identity verification (KYC) with Binance TH. All accepted visas must meet the validity requirement below, and you must also provide the supporting documents that correspond to your declared purpose of entry.

Documents Required for All Applicants

  1. First Document: Passport

  2. Second Document: ID card or Driving License issued by the Thai government or the relevant government authority of your country of nationality (both front and back sides required)

  3. Third Document: Visa - must be valid with at least 3 months of remaining validity from the date of document review

  4. Additional Documents: Supporting documents corresponding to your declared purpose of entry (see each section below)

Validity requirement:  Your passport, second identification document, and visa must each be valid with at least 3 months of remaining validity from the date of document review, in accordance with AMLO requirements. All documents must be original.

1. Work

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa - all types

  • Smart Visa

  • Diplomatic Visa or Official Visa (officers of a foreign government or international organization)

  • APEC Visa

Required supporting documents

One of the following, as applicable to your employment:

  • Work Permit issued by the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour - all formats accepted (card, booklet, electronic, QR Code)

*If you have changed employers and your Work Permit has not yet been updated, provide an employer certificate (below) showing the new employer's details while the update is in process.

  • Certificate issued by your employer specifying employer and employee details (full name, date of birth, ID number, nationality, current address), work address, and contact information - signed by HR or an authorized signatory with company seal (if applicable), issued within the last 3 months.

  • Professional teaching license issued by the Teachers' Council, together with the employment contract between teacher and school (all pages).

  • For officers of a foreign government or international organization: a letter certifying official status issued by the agency or organization (e.g. Embassy, United Nations, WTO, EU, OPEC, APEC).

  • APEC Business Travel Card (front and back sides)

  • For foreign workers with temporary residency from Laos or Cambodia: Pink card (บัตรประจำตัวคนซึ่งไม่มีสัญชาติไทย) issued by the Department of Employment or Department of Provincial Administration (front and back sides).

  • House registration (ทะเบียนบ้านเล่มปกเหลือง ทร. 13 with 13-digit ID number, or ทร. 14)

2. Entry to Operate a Business in Thailand
Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa - all types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa Type B (Business)

  • APEC Visa

Required supporting documents

  • Documents of business activity in Thailand specifying your name, either: Certificate of juristic person registration and Bor Or Jor 5 issued by the Department of Business Development (DBD) with you listed as a director or managing shareholder, or documents specifying you as a business owner/operator in Thailand (e.g. Por Por. 20).

  • APEC Business Travel Card (front and back sides), if applicable

  • House registration (ทร. 13 with 13-digit ID number, or ทร. 14)

3. Foreign Student

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa - all types

  • Visa code ED (Education)

Required supporting documents

  • Certification letter from an educational institution accredited by the Ministry of Education, issued within the last 3 months.

  • Not accepted: tutorial schools, language schools, and religious instruction schools, as they are not formally accredited by the Ministry of Education.

  • House registration (ทร. 13 with 13-digit ID number, or ทร. 14)

4. Medical Treatment

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa O (MT-90) or O (MD)

  • Residence permit of at least 3 months issued by the Thai government or the relevant jurisdiction.

Required supporting documents

  • Certificate from the medical institution confirming treatment was or will be performed, issued within the last 3 months, including: (1) full name of the patient as shown in the passport, (2) duration of treatment, and (3) the hospital's stamp.

5. Buying Real Estate

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

Required supporting documents

  • Real estate transaction documents, such as a land purchase agreement, payment receipt, or promissory note for the deposit (all pages)

6. Owner of Real Estate in Thailand

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

Required supporting documents

  • Proof of real estate ownership (e.g. land title deed or land certificate) with your name clearly displayed, all pages.

7. Investment in Securities

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

Required supporting documents

  • Investment portfolio (all pages): shares/bonds certificate or derivatives, issued by a securities company licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC), issued within the last 3 months

8. Retirement

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

  • Retirement Visa

  • Non-Immigrant Visa O-A or O-X - must be accompanied by a retirement stamp

  • Long Stay Visa - must be accompanied by a certificate issued by the embassy

Required supporting documents

  • Proof of residency in Thailand, such as a house lease agreement, condominium rental agreement, or other document showing your residential address in Thailand (all pages)

9. Holder of Thailand Elite / Thailand Privilege Card

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa SE (Social Entry) or PE (Privilege Entry)

Required supporting documents

  • Thailand Elite Card (front and back sides) or Certificate of Thailand Elite membership.

  • Proof of residency in Thailand (all pages), together with a certificate issued by the embassy or immigration office.

10. Foreign Nationals with a Thai Family

Accepted visa types

  • Non-Immigrant Visa – all types

Required supporting documents

  • If married to a Thai national: marriage certificate (all pages, showing the Thai spouse's name), together with household registration (กร. 22)

  • If you have a Thai child: the child's documents showing both parents' names (all pages), e.g. birth certificate or house registration.

11. Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa

Accepted visa types

  • Long-Term Resident Visa (LTR) - must be accompanied by a certificate issued by the embassy.

Required supporting documents

  • Proof of residency in Thailand, such as a house lease agreement or condominium rental agreement (all pages)

  • House registration (ทร. 13 with 13-digit ID number, or ทร. 14)

Important Note

* Documents marked as "must be accompanied by" require both documents to be submitted together - one alone will not satisfy the requirement.

* All supporting documents must be original, valid, and not expired.

* Identity documents not in English must include a photo confirming it is the same person; no Thai or English translation is required.

Visa Types Not Accepted

The following are not accepted for KYC verification, as they permit entry for tourism or other short-term purposes only:

  • Tourist Visa

  • Visa on Arrival (VOA)

  • Visa Exemption / Free Visa (Por Por. 14, Por Por. 30)

  • Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

  • Any other visa category that permits entry for tourism purposes
